Our Story
Skillier is founded by two brothers who are inspired by their mother Jamila. She grew up in a rural village in India and despite being a brilliant student with aspirations to become a doctor had to quit education after 8th grade because of a lack of funding and opportunities. Her lifelong mission has been to make sure her children had the educational opportunities she did not. Because of her drive, against all odds and through the ups and downs of life, she was able to transform the lives of her two sons through education ensuring one of them had a Ph.D. and the other an MBA. The two brothers are now on a mission to do their part to make sure children from underprivileged communities can fulfill their educational dreams and no other Jamila in the world is left behind.
